Course Overview
The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Education and Training (RQF) is an entry-level teaching qualification designed for individuals who want to start a career in teaching or training within the further education and skills sector. This qualification is widely recognised and provides the foundational knowledge required to deliver effective and engaging learning sessions.
The Level 3 Award in Education and Training course is suitable for those working, or planning to work, in environments such as Further Education (FE) colleges, independent training providers, workplace training roles, and local authority education services.
During the course, learners will develop an understanding of the responsibilities of a trainer or tutor, including how to plan structured learning sessions, deliver inclusive teaching, and support learners with different needs and abilities.
Start Your Journey in Teaching & Training
This course is designed to give new and aspiring trainers the practical knowledge needed to begin delivering structured learning sessions. During the course, you will explore how to plan lessons, support different learning styles, and create an environment where learners feel comfortable participating and asking questions.
At The Health & Safety Academy, we combine theory with practical learning so you can begin applying what you learn straight away. As part of the programme, you will complete a micro-teaching session where you deliver a short lesson to other learners. This provides an opportunity to practise your teaching skills and receive helpful feedback from both your tutor and peers.
